Dr. Troy Gatcliffe is a gynecologic oncologist at The Mount Sinai Comprehensive Cancer Center. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
After earning his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland, Dr. Gatcliffe completed his obstectics/gynecology residency at Boston University Medical Center. He completed his gynecologic oncology fellowship at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, where his research interests included molecular signaling pathways in ovarian cancer and the chemotherapy of cervical cancer.
Dr. Gatcliffe has lectured nationally and internationally on surgical techniques and the treatment of cervical, ovarian and other gynecologic cancers. He has also held various academic appointments, including his current position as clinical assistant professor at Florida International University’s Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Gatcliffe has held various positions in the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, including serving as the fellow and candidate representative to the Board. He is also a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
